Our principal consultant, Ms Ana was invited to one of MyKasih prominent programme. This programme, 'Mengecapi Aspirasi Diri' (MAD) is founded in order to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for recipients in realising their ability to push forward their social and economical gain in society.

It was held in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur. As the crowd gathered enthusiastically in the morning, MyKasih team were ready to kick start the sessions as planned.

We were in a circle of coaches, each well-versed in their areas of expertise. As Coach Sharmini opened the floor with an introduction of the programme, Ms Ana was welcomed to enlighten the room about her session.

Her motto for the session, 'Saya Bergaya & Berjaya' seems to be an intriguing phrase as the audience were listening for more elaboration.

With laughter and few giggles from the audience, all thanks to Ana's cheerful presence, she explained how you have to dress like the job you wish to have. In short, you have to look like a million ringgit to make a million ringgit.

"Come Alive with Colours"

Colours are in all aspects of our lives. We associate sunny day with bright yellow of sunflowers. On a day that when feel good, we tend to wear something more colourful. We even have published books about personality  base on colours.

Colours infuse lives. Observe the flowers, trees and all in the nature. They are displaying various tones of colours that is so vibrant and captivate to our senses. The colourful advertisement and logo attract you while you are passing by them. The interesting presentation by a speaker with colorful voice (with tone, pitch and rhythm) that arouses your interest so you will stay through for hours. The colours of your clothing items, accessories and make-up also evoke various emotions in others.
.

We desire to share with you that you have a unique colour palette and the knowingness is within you. Therefore we give birth to "Come Alive with Colours"  workshop at Sophia Centre of Creative Learning at Mont Kiara on 15th October 2011 2.30pm to 5.30pm. (details in the 1 page flyer posted)

What is Image

Image is a topic that is very close to my heart as it represents one’s projection of self to the world. How others relate to that projection is the judgment to the individual.

According to AICI (Association of Image Consultants International):-

Image is a visual representation projected by a person, business or organization. It forms a mental picture as seen or considered by others.

In this context, I would like to share my personal and professional view regarding image. A person’s image is always evolving. Image includes three main areas: appearance, behavior and communication (ABC). As an Image and Personal Branding Consultant, I have the liberty to work with individuals both at personal and corporate level to improve their self presentation in the areas of ABC and witness some tremendous progress in both their personal and professional lives.

Appearance produces a visual of a person. Undeniably, we attribute the outer characteristics with the look of a person. Sometimes, that happens within seconds. For example, a gentleman who wears a quality black suit with white dress shirt and business like tie look more professional than another gentleman with only white dress shirt.

I often got one common question during my meetings and consultation with clients: how do we create an image that looks great and at the same time, feel like “me”. The journey inwards to discover the core of a person (personality & characteristic, talent, desire and goals) is the greatest influencer to our image. As we want our “authentic image”, we need to first identify and understand who we really are.

Love,

Ana
